The Youth Ambassadors are led by two High-School co-chairs, Shannon and Mikayla Diesch.
These sisters co-founded their own nutrition technology company in 2010 with their first product being flown on the Space Shuttle Endeavor to the International Space Station. Mikayla and Shannon have both been heavily involved in science and technology outreach and have been invited to speak at numerous conferences and events including the White House, National Space Symposium, a NASA Space Shuttle Launch, and many others. In 2009, they won the Conrad Foundation's Spirit of Innovation Awards program.
